It was one of those days...
It was one
of those days. Those days when everything just felt right. When she sat with
that beer in one hand, gazing at the sea in that perfect little moonlight. The
sea that was beyond boundries. The sea that had a sense of calmness with rough
patchy waves that hit the shore with the occasional thunder. But she liked it
somehow. The music it created brought a sense of serenity in the atmosphere. It
was like the feeling she got when she let out a gentle sigh and everything just
sank in..a little curiousity, a little amazement and largely gratitude. Yes, it
was one of hose days.
She looked
at him in a way she had not looked at any other man. When she opened up her
fears and inhibitions in the shadow of the moonlight that fell on them, she
realised that it was not only her heart that bear naked in front of him. It was
her soul too. He too so flawlessly walked in into the zigzag unfinished open
slots of her. It felt right. It felt complete.
She took one
sip of the chilled beer. The cold smooth beer passed through the hot walls of
her throat. But it wasn't the cold beer that gave her chills. It was his gazing
peircing eyes. She watched unquestioningly when her fingers entwined in his and
the calluses smoothenend on their own. She leant back into him.. she did not
ask why the gaps closed. It just felt right somehow. She lit a smoke. There was a certain sense of
calmness with him around. Or was it the sea? Never mind. She smiled. It was one
of those days.
And then... They sat down there. In the sands
of the sea. As one. Many a things were said and many a promises were made.
Beneath the shadow of the moonlight, a love deep and true was etched in the
grains of time. Time that remains immortal in the expanse of the universe.
And
then..... they sat some more. The man and the woman. Like children playing at a
new game. The pieces all laid out on the fresh dewy sand. The moon shining in a
dark blue sky. She smiled. Yes, it was one of those days. Just there. Just
perfect.
